Registration

All Scouts must register with the Boy Scouts each September.  If a scout is returning to Troop 160 from last year, they will need to verify/update the existing Troop 160 registration info sheet available at the registration table during the first few Scout meetings in the fall.  They will also need to:

Returning parent volunteers must complete the Boston Archdiocese CORI form annually. This is required by St. Brigid Parish, Troop 160’s chartering organization. Note, you will need to provide a copy of the front and back of your driver's license when submitting this form.

If your son is NEW to Troop 160, you will need to do the following:

Parents who wish to volunteer for the first time to lead activities should also complete the following:

Parents who wish to volunteer as Merit Badge Counselors,  should complete the Merit Badge Counselor Information Form in addition to the above requirements for adult volunteers.

Registration Fees

Registration fees may be paid by check.   Please remit the using the Dues Form with checks payable to Troop 160.   Registration dues may also be paid via PayPalBe sure to provide the names that you are registering in the payment note field. 

Our fees are:

  • $75.00 first scout
  • $45.00 per sibling
  • $12.00 (optional Boy’s Life magazine) per scout
  • $24.00 for each “Registered” Adult Leader, fee is voluntary

It is the goal of Troop 160 that no Scout is excluded from basic troop activities such as registration, overnights and summer camp due to financial hardship.  For Financial Assistance, please contact: Marieke Zhao mkzhao at ɡⅿаіⅼ dot com
