Here’s where we stand on planning for the West Point Camporee. This covers everything we talked about at the Troop meeting yesterday. Detailed directions for driving to West Point will be forthcoming early next week.
One thing we did not discuss, and should have, is that we need to get some additional forms filled out for […]

The West Point Camporee is coming up on May 5-7. We’ll be gathering briefly at tonight’s Troop meeting (4/27) to do some planning — so be there if you can.

Please be sure you submit your permission slip and $15.00 check to Mr. Bassett at the Apr 27 Troop 160 meeting.
Patrols will need to plan menus at the meeting and obtain their food before we depart on Saturday morning.
Be at St Brigid at 7:15am Sat morning Apr 29. Scouts will return to St Brigid […]

Hi all,
Flawless! Superb! Broke all records!
THANK YOU to all who worked on it, scouts and adults!
I cannot thank you enough. Everyone did extremely well. Here are some specific thoughts about the various parts of the event:

1.) Everyone showed up when they were supposed to. This indicates that the communications was […]

The Troop will be hosting a pasta dinner for the West Point Crew Team at 6 pm on April 29. Many thanks to the many volunteers who have already signed up — we’ll need you at Keilty Hall at 4 pm. This dinner is largely a way of saying “thank you” to West Point for […]

We had another record turnout, and the profits from this one annual fundraiser will help with our equipment and activities for the coming year.
We look forward […]

Don’t know why we didn’t post this before…

Hello everyone,
I am looking for scouts to participate in a volunteer service project for a non profit environmental agency, the Middlesex Conservation District. Twice a year we hold plant sales to raise money for conservation programs. We need scouts to help our customers load bags of compost into their cars (our customers and regular volunteers […]

…the Church is in use setting up for Easter.
UPDATE: Slips for the Rod & Gun campout were due 4/13, but obviously couldn’t be submitted since the meeting was cancelled. You can turn in your slip at the Troop meeting on 4/27, which is only two days before the campout. If you’re planning […]
