Rod & Gun Campout, April 29-30

Scouts: The annual Troop 160 camp-out at the Riverside Rod & Gun Club is coming up April 29-30. Saturday, April 29 will be a chance to learn how to fire the rifle, shoot an arrow, and use a shotgun. The permission slip is downloadable below.

Return the slip and $15.00 to Mr Bassett by April 13.

UPDATE, 4/14: Since the April 13 Troop meeting was cancelled, you can return the slip and $15 to Mr. Bassett on April 27 — that’s only two days before the campout. If you’re going and haven’t turned in your slip yet, please contact Mr. Bassett before that so we can plan.

Parents: We need your help! Please volunteer to come to the Riverside Rod & Gun Club with the Troop on Saturday, Apr 29. The scouts will be shooting with well qualified instructors, but we need your help to add an even greater margin of safety during the events. And it’s a great weekend camp-out. So plan to stay for dinner Saturday evening (a dinner you’ll never forget!), participate in an entertaining Troop Campfire, and stay the night if you want. Come for the whole weekend or just Saturday - it’s up to you, just let me know on your Scout’s permission slip.
