Attached is the flier and sign-up form for the annual Cookeree Campout. We are holding it, as last year, at Camp Acton in Acton, Mass. The campout has been a lot of fun for everyone in the past, particularly since we started producing a fancy feast in the outdoors. Lexington Webelos are our guests at this campout, so it would be great if the Scouts made a strong showing.

Even if they dont care to camp, parents should consider coming for the day to help with the cooking or to take a walk in the woods. Camp Acton is connected to conservation land that is part of the Bay Circuit Trail so there are several pleasant routes. And all Scout family members are very welcome to come for diner.

We are also looking for an adult volunteer to coordinate the desert cooking.
This will involve getting the ingredients together and supervising the prep cooks and bakers. Experienced advice about the job is available, and if you don’t know much about outdoor Dutch-oven cooking, you will know a lot more afterwards

Forms and checks can be given to me or Tad Coburn at scout meetings or mailed to me.

If you have questions, please feel free e-mail me or call me, or contact Tad.
