Fun at Boulder Morty

climbing

We had a great time on our climbing trip at Boulder Morty on Saturday, December 9. The staff was impressed that all the scouts had been trained on belaying with the same equipment that they use. Thank you Glen.

Boulder Morty has something for all levels of climbers. Since everyone could belay, we got a lot of climbs in. All the adults got to climb as well. The facility has a nice layout. There is a viewing area that has tables, and that is where we had lunch. The staff recommended a great local pizza place. It worked out very well.

Two of the new scouts who never climbed before said the trip was awesome. One pulled out his requirements book for the Climbing merit badge when he got home and said he couldn’t wait until Rumney! This coming May we have our next climbing trip scheduled in Rumney, NH. Mark it on your calendars.
