Lots more information on Winter Camping (from the Troop Resources pages)

“Why I Love New England,” forwarded by D. Cooper:

It’s winter in New England, and the gentle breezes blow,
Seventy miles an hour, at fifty two below.
Oh, how I love New England, when the snow’s up to your butt.
You take a breath of winter air, and your nose, it freezes shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful, so I guess I’ll hang around.
But I could never leave New England, ’cause I’m frozen to the ground !!!!!

Uniform Inventory – free to those who need them

Troop 160 has an inventory of Boy Scout shirts and pants plus a few Cub Scout shirts which are available free to those who need them. The items show little wear and will be good for many more wearings. You will have to add patches and loops to the shirts, of course, since most come without them. See the Scoutmaster if you want to try something on.

If you have any uniform parts that you no longer need, consider donating them to the Troop 160 clothing locker where they will find a new owner.
