On Thursday, March 20, we’ll be holding a Life-to-Eagle Seminar for any Scouts who are interested. Parents are also more than welcome. The seminar will be at 7:30 pm, in the Library at St. Brigid’s (same building as our regular meeting, but down at the other end of the hall, closest to Massachusetts Avenue). Since March 20 is Holy Thursday we won’t be having a Troop meeting, so there’s no schedule conflict there.
We’ll be discussing required merit badges, the Eagle Project, and whatever else you’d like to know. We’ll be paying special attention to the support available for prospective Eagles in our Troop, including identifying projects, writing up the proposal, and getting the work done.
Although we’re calling this a Life-to-Eagle seminar, it’s open to any Scout who’s interested, whether he’s attained the Life badge yet or not. Again, parents are also welcome. If you have any questions about this meeting, or any topics you want to make sure we discuss, feel free to get in touch with Barry Griffiths either by email or phone.
