The Lexington Board of Health has announced that testing has turned up signs of West Nile Virus in Lexington–first in a blue jay and now in mosquitoes. Treatment of suspect areas has been done. Attached are three documents (WNV Doc 1.doc, WNV Doc 2.PDF, WNV Doc 3.PDF)which will give you more information.
The basic message is that of course we should all be careful, but we are reminded that there have been no human cases in Massachusetts this year.
