Hi Scouts,
If you are interested in learning more about the Trail to Eagle, Flintlock District is holding an Eagle Seminar this Wednesday, September 8 at 7:30pm at St. Brigid’s. This seminar will give you an overview of the process, tips on how to plan out your time, and ideas on how to choose an Eagle project. This is for scouts who are First Class or above.
Parents and adult leaders interested in the process are welcome as well. As a Troop, we are looking for more adults to help older scouts as Eagle advisers. As an Eagle adviser you would be available to help a candidate find a suitable project, advise him in planning his project, give him feedback on his proposal, provide guidance during the project, and help out with the Eagle application. It is a very rewarding position and a good way to get to know one of the older scouts. Please consider coming to the seminar on Wednesday to find out more.
If you can’t attend the seminar this Wednesday, this seminar will be hosted in November in the Sons of Liberty District and again in Flintlock District in January.
*** Eagle Seminar, 7:30 pm at St. Brigid Parish Hall, Lexington, Wednesday, Sept 8. Scouts and any interested adults should enter at the double doors off the parking lot, and then turn left, turn right and turn left again to find yourself in the hallway with the classrooms. There will be a scouter there to guide you to the correct location.
