REGISTERING AS AN ADULT
Adults who wish to attend campouts and volunteer to lead activities must complete the following:
BSA Adult Application (Adults must register online and pay the Scouting America fee.) Transfers may also be initiated this way.
BSA Massachusetts CORI (You must provide a copy of the front and back of your driver's license. Forward the confirmation email received to the Committee Chair)

You must provide a copy of the front and back of your driver's license. Drop them off at a meeting.)
BSA Scout Youth Protection Training (You will receive your YPT certificate PDF in an email after a couple hours. Send it to the Committee Chair.)
YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING
True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, regional, area, council, district, and unit levels.
All volunteers must complete BSA Scout Youth Protection Training
MERIT BADGE COUNSELOR
Registered Adults who wish to volunteer as Merit Badge Counselors, should complete the Merit Badge Counselor Information Form in addition to the above requirements for adult volunteers. (Send to the Advancement Chair or Committee Chair.)
EVENT LEADER PLANNING
Troop 160 maintains “How to Plan and Run a Troop 160 Camping Trip” to assist you in managing a campout or event
